ivy was born and raised in allentown, pa. upon turning 18, she left for boston, ma. she had been accepted into harvard university. she majored in business and book studies, upon her graduation she opened up her bookstore, the ivy leaf. after her business took off, she stepped back to focus on making music, her second passion in life.though growing up in a quiet, safe town, that didnt stop tragedgy from striking down the altair family. when ivy was 12, she had come home finding her father deceased and the house burglarized. this had taken a major toll on ivy and her ability feel safe in her house, or with anyone else. once the family moved, ivy had felt safer, but still continued paranoia and compulsive behaviors, she remained convinced into adulthood that if she had done these compulsions, everyone would be safe.her childhood consisted of growing up alongside wren, the pair didn't always get along. having the same birthday put a damper on their childhood, they both felt overlooked by the other. despite their rocky and difficult childhood, as adults, they're much closer.ivy currently resides in manhattan, NY, where she has met some of her closest friends, not limited to — grayson, gianna, jake, fallon, and jonah, baker and her dear sister, wren.living in manhattan in a building with security at all times had helped subside ivy's compulsive behaviors, but had not let her paranoia, nightmares or lack of safety diminish at all. despite loving her bookstore, it reminded her of her childhood home. old oak shelves, plants strewn about the place, quiet classical music playing at all times. it felt like an homage to her father... which made it harder to be there, especially alone. she knew the man who broke into her house all those years ago still roamed free, and this had her in a near constant state of being on edge -- until she met baker, who had made her feel safer just by standing near her.

writer is a single mom with 2 toddlers. i work a full time job, avg 40+ hours weekly. replies are sporadic, lack of replies does not negate interest in characters relationships. writer is mostly active while at work, her time with her kids is spent with them. writer has adhd, bpd, and ocd, this makes it difficult to understand tone, cues, and fully understand dynamics without making it clear.
